More Information and Reviewing! - Entry #7

What can I say? After playing even more through the campaign, I am shocked at how fun this game is. From graphics to gameplay, the fun is unstoppable. Each new portion brings an entirely new adventure and many different objectives. After playing all three game modes, I found the campaign to be the superior.

The multiplayer is second. Well, for now anyways. The reason is because of the waiting time to get into a game. When you try and join, it takes at least 5 minutes to match you up with a set of people and start playing. I am assuming that this is due to the small amount of players at this moment. If it's not because of that, I would think that an update in the near future will fix this. However, once you're in the game, you forget about any and all faults. The first thing I want to talk about is the Deathstreak system. Now, instead of just Killstreak rewards, you get Deathstreak "rewards" also. These rewards mainly give you some sort of survivability method, like last stand. I found myself purposely dying to gain these special abilities and learn about them. The maps for multiplayer are a lot better than Modern Warfare maps and altogether are the perfect combination of small, large, medium sized, and stealth filled maps.

Lastly, I want to talk about the Special Operations (spec-ops) mode. After playing a little bit with a friend, I figured out that it really is a lot of fun. To sum up this mode, there are categories that you can play in, each category having it's own set of missions. In order to unlock other categories, you need to first accomplish a certain amount of stars by playing through other categories missions. Stars are earned by completing missions and you can gain up to three stars per mission. However, as long as you don't have three stars on a mission, you can replay it and try and do better to earn more stars. There are many different types of missions such as getting from point A to point B, killing waves of enemies, or even racing others in a snowmobile race!

The amount of effort put into the game is clearly visible the first time you play. Well done, Infinity Ward!
